Kay Hannahan is a Minneapolis-based filmmaker whose work explores themes of identity, memory, and place. Her films have been showcased by The Atlantic, the U.S. National Gallery of Art, and at film festivals worldwide, including Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Docudays Human Rights Film Festival, and DocAviv. Kay was a 2018 Fulbright filmmaking fellow in Hungary and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria. She is currently an assistant professor at Winona State University.
